There are several drug interactions that you must know about, this is the list of drugs with which may Zolpidem Ambien interact:

Imipramine

Imipramine (Tofranil)
When Imipramine mixed with Ambien, patients may encounter decrease in awareness.

Chlorpromazine (Thor-Prom, Thorazine)

Alcohol
Ambien may just increase the effect of alcohol, or the alcohol may increase the possibility of side effects.

Sertraline (Zoloft)
The effect is not known when Sertraline and Ambien is taken together.

Rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane)
This may cause your body to metabolize the drugs differently than needed.

Flumazenil (Romazicon)
This reaction may cause Ambien to give a reverse effect.
